Aeronautica Arena’s wind tunnel is specially designed for sport flyers and skydivers alike where you can fully concentrate on your training in a friendly and relaxed environment. After all, Finland was voted the happiest place in the world to live. The tunnel has some unique features, boasting a massive 9 metres of glass and a top speed of 290km/h. A special feature of this tunnel is the ‘rabbit hole’ at the top, which allows you to ‘base-hop’ into the airflow for those able to fly at high wind speed. In addition to low tunnel time prices, sports flyers have access to a bunkhouse, a restaurant and remote working facilities!

When not flying, Aeronautica Arena offers a range of other exciting activities for all tastes. You can ride the waves on the indoor surfrider simulator, play virtual reality games, relax in the sauna, enjoy the jacuzzi or even organise a karaoke night. You can also taste the culinary delights at the onsite Restaurant Aeronamnam, where you can have breakfast, lunch, burgers and pasta – not forgetting three-course dinners!
The tourist assets of the Pyhtää and East Coast region include, among other things, its magnificent nature. Excursions to Valkmusa National Park are possible at any time of the year, and in the summer you should definitely take a trip to Kaunissaari by motorboat. Attractions in the area include Strömfors Ruukki, a nature and local tourist attraction, the old towns & restaurants of Porvoo and Loviisa, and Kotka’s Maretarium and Vellamo Marine Centre museums. For the more adventurous Linnanmaki Theme park and Zippy Park Treetop adventures boasting no less than 10 course to keep you busy, are a short drive away.
